Between the Raindrops layout and freebie

I have to say being on a creative team keeps me on my toes. I'm not a person that likes to procrastinate and the thought of a weekly layout deadline seemed daunting at first. But I have to say it's really stretched my creativity. Here's my latest layout for HotFlashDesigns. It's using her new kit called Between the Raindrops. You can find it on sale now at ACOT.

Here's my layout using the kit.

Here's a freebie made from the kit that you can grab on HotFlash's blog!

Template Freebie

I'm very fortunate in my designing retirement to have been able to work with a variety of great designers through their creative teams. I'm currently creating for HotFlashDesigns. Right now she is offering a template freebie for Facebook fans. Guess who designed the template? ME! Check it out!

You can get this freebie just for becoming a Facebook fan of HotFlashDesigns.

Wow!

Wow! It's been more than a year since I posted. I'm officially in designing retirement. I just don't have the time. To add to that, my external hard drive with all my designs and materials bit the dust. I know! I know! Back that stuff up.
At least I have more time to scrap. I'm still hundreds of memories behind, but I'm trying to make a dent in the number of layouts I'm doing.

I'm very excited about my newest CT assignment. I've been accepted to the store CT at Scrapable. I'm so happy to be there. My run at Sunshine Studio Scraps has come to an end because the store is closing, so Scrapable came along at the perfect time.

Here are some of my layouts using Scrapable products:

This is picture of my Grandmother circa early 1940s.

I used Urban Magic by Kakleidesigns.

Here's a picture of Gianni on the Fourth of July.

I used Land of the Free by Designer Girl Scraps.

If you're at Scrapable, don't forget to pick up this month's collab called Spookable.

I created these two layouts using the collab. One is Gianni at age 3 and one is a layout of the boys trick or treating last year.

A week full of layouts and a freebie!

Wow, I've been doing a lot of layouts this week. I was fortunate to be selected for several one kit calls this week, and I've joined Cindy Ritter's CT.

I want to highlight the kits I worked with and share my new layouts. I have a freebie from me too!

The first kit I worked with was Let's Celebrate by Red Ivy Designs. This is a great bundle and on sale right now for just $7.00!

And here are my layouts.

The next kit I worked with was About a Girl by Binty Designs. This is Binty's brand new kit and it's wonderful! It has so many great girly elements. I went retro with my layouts and did some pics of me as a child. My house is full of boys, so not a lot of girl photos to be had.

Here are my layouts.

The next kit is by KS Designs and it's called Candy Land. This is a fun kit and great for living games of Candy Land or indulging your sweet tooth. I did a layout about G and his sweet tooth despite his food allergies.

Here's the kit.

and my layout...

I'll be back some time this week to post my CT layouts for NDISB and Cindy Ritter.

And here's your freebie. It's a mini kit I did a while back.

You can download it here.

New layouts with a great new kit; plus another freebie

I've been accepted to a new CT for Binty Designs. I'm so excited to be working with her products. She has a fabulous new kit releasing today at Inspiration Lane. It's called Backyard Romance. It has so many great elements that work for a wide variety of layouts.

Here's a preview of the kit. Click to go to Binty's store!

Here are two layouts I created with the kit.

And here's another freebie from me. It's from my July 365 kit last summer. You get the whole kit right now for just $.50 during my retirment sale.

Wow! It's been a long time and a freebie

Wow, it's been almost a year since I updated the blog. I didn't fall of the face of the earth, but I did take a hiatus from designing and scrapping. I found it hard to find the time to design or scrap with two little ones at home and a husband that works second shift. I'm trying hard this summer to get caught up on my scrapping, but the designing is still on hold. I'm calling it semi-retirement! I hope to get back to it at some point. Making freebies at least.

I still have my shop open at Karla's Kaleidoscope Designs, but there haven't been any new releases in over a year. But I'm running a 90% off semi-retirement sale, so you can pick up my stuff super cheap! You're sure to find something you like I'm sure :)

I'm hoping to post some freebies from time to time and post layouts. Here's a freebie for you, and I hope you'll come back and visit to check other freebies and information on kits from other great designers.

New Layouts

Wow, where did the end of August go? So much for getting a ton of designing done this summer!

Here are two new layouts. I used ChampĂȘtre Chic by Mycrevette Designs

I loved the variety of elements in this kit. I had fun documenting G's love of peas and getting his new bike layout done. Great kit!
